Greetings from Bunya
Mountains |
 |
 |
 |
|
|
 |
Hi
And hello Autumn! We
welcome your crisp,
clear days and
chilly nights. We've
had lows of 15
degrees this past
week. Autumn is our
season of transition
in the Bunya
Mountains, our
friendly reminder
that winter chill is
just around the
corner.
Have you booked your
favourite house or
chalet for the April
and May long
weekends? (Good
Friday is the 14th
April and Labour Day
is Monday 1st May).
The holiday houses
are booking fast, so
if you've thought
about booking your
long weekend make
sure you jump online
and secure your
house as soon as
possible -
view all holiday
homes here.
Time your next visit
with our Community
Market Day - they
are on the last
Sunday of every
month. With 20+
stalls of home-grown
and handmade local
produce there is
something for
everyone. Tip: April
Market Day falls on
the Labour Day long
weekend - Sunday
30th April making it
the perfect Bunya
Mountains long
weekend.
Mid-March to
late-April is the
time to see the
Bunya Mountains in
all its autumn
glory, but do bring
an extra jacket this
time of year!
Chances are it will
make all the
difference between a
brisk morning
power-walk and a
pleasant amble. When
that cool mountain
wind blows, a
forerunner to
impending winter,
you might thank me.
Hope to see you on
the mountain soon.
Warm Regards
Sue Unwin,
General Manager |
