More Sharemarket Graphs

Click here to buy - A How To Book of SMSF's by Tony Negline
Tony Negline

This week I continue to release graphs for the last 28 years of investment performance.

There are two graphs this week. One shows the ASX 200 All Industrials versus One Year Term Deposits. The other shows the ASX 200 All Resources versus Term Deposits.

As noted last week, the All Resources seems to have shaken off the GFC. (But as I mentioned what would happen if China got a cold. I begin to get a little nervous whenever some expert commentators begin to say "this time it's different." Some people began making these noises earlier this week in relation to China's long term resource requirements. This time these people may well be right!)

You'll also note that the Industrial shares have produced far more income than Resource shares.

I will continue releasing further graphs over the next while. Given the imminent release of the Henry Tax Review we may hold off for a few weeks so that your inboxes don't get too full. The week after we have the Federal Budget, in which case we'll all be very busy again.

One set of graphs will be the accumulation indices graphs.

I will also release a graph comparing residential property (based on ABS data for All Australian Capital Cities) and the share market.

Please contact us if you would like to reproduce these graphs. We allow you to use the content in our emails for a modest annual fee. Unfortunately reproducing our content without our permission is a breach of the copyright laws.

Finally please consider purchasing a copy of my book. You can look at the contents page at the following link: http://www.atcbiz.com.au/r.php?r=0mjd6ne

The second edition has just been released.

Two options are available - once only subscription - $55 inc GST - or an annual subscription will gives you access to all the updates made throughout the year ($120 inc GST). The book can be purchased at the following link: http://www.atcbiz.com.au/r.php?r=5a4agqb
